After releases on International Chrome, FTP, Mutual Pleasure, and Moveltraxx – plus the wicked thematic mixtapes and remixes he self-releases on Bandcamp – Boston-based Amadeezy debuts on Los Angeles label EVAR RECORDS with 2 LIT 2 QUIT, a mega-album of rap-rave mayhem designed expressly with the label in mind. Amadeezy may rep the East, but nonetheless perfectly nails the classic mid-'90s L.A. sound with a mix of pounding hard house, golden-era Rotterdam hardcore, and the kind of hoovers and dramatic Euro-dance synths that send the looners into a frenzy.

"All the music I do is tailor-made to order for the people I'm dealing with," says Amadeezy, whose artistic values and DIY punk attitude perfectly align EVAR's ethos of free artistic expression and exploding the boundaries between genres. "For EVAR, I knew I wanted to do something with hard house and gabber. I fuckin' love any rave stab you can think of. I love the Hoover, the 808… any kind of big, stupid kick drum! I like hip-hop and electro – and it's infused in the music no matter what I do – but I don't want people to put me in a box. I want people to know I can do whatever music I feel like doing."

Cookie-cutter '90s sounds are all the rage these days but this pack hits with a different level of style and finesse – Amadeezy perfectly capturing the essence of a bygone era while creating a fresh take for today's warehouse freaks."2 Lit 2 Quit"sets the tone with five minutes of perfectly arranged bouncy kicks, classic Dutch synth stabs, and anthemic pianos; it's followed by the 42 bpm hard house banger"Go Berserk,"driven by a percolating chicken-squawk synth lead that pays homage to Robert Armani, Underground Construction and Industrial Strength in equal measure.

"Paradoxxx"is a delicious and devious lick – devilish Xan rap paired with German-type dark trance arpeggios and galloping kicks that have 'em rushing the bass bins."Choose Violence"is an equally menacing banger in a Frankfurt/PCP Productions style with an unexpected snap music breakdown, while "Tales of Glory''is Amadeezy's magnum opus – a movie theme of mentasms, breakbeat chops, and lyrical badness.
